3rd DBAR Conference, December 2018
Andrea Marinoni was invited to give e key-note speech at the 3rd DBAR conference in Tengchong, P.R. China, Dec. 5-7, 2018 (http://dbar2018.csp.escience.cn/dct/page/1).
DBAR18 conference hosted several specialized sessions examining the applications of big Earth data for sustainable development in different fields, such as environmental change, disaster mitigation, water resources, agriculture food security, natural and cultural heritage, coast and marine, urban and infrastructure, High Mountain and Arctic, and the need for big Earth data in solving large-scale regional and global problems.
Andrea gave a talk entitled “Integrated Remote Sensing for Sustainable Development in the Polar Region,” and participated in panel discussions and working group meetings, such as those conducted within the DBAR High Mountain and Cold Region (DBAR-HiMAC) working group.
