There will be two talks by well esteemed guests from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL):

• Brent Minchew (MIT) – “New Insights into the Mechanics of Glacier Beds from Time-Dependent Surface Velocity Fields”
• Benjamin Holt (JPL) – “Overview of the 2015 Sea State and Boundary Layer Physics Campaign in the Emerging Arctic and Thoughts on Going Forward”
