New CIRFA engineer

We are happy to have hired our recently graduated master student Vebjørn Karisari as an engineer for a one year project aiming to produce high quality datasets which will allow better training of models for remote sensing image analysis. In the machine learning world the most tedious and often most difficult task is to acquire the required training data and get it into a form that is usable for analysis. Vebjørn’s work will therefore be an important contribution to the CIRFA’s goal of producing improved services.
